If you currently subscribe to Dish Network in the Albany and Columbus markets, you may have noticed that some of the local stations in both markets are no longer available in your channel line-up.
At midnight on August 1 (Thursday), Dish removed the signals of NBC/ABC affiliate WALB Albany, and ABC affiliate WTVM Columbus, from their channel line-ups. The blackout came when Dish and Raycom Media (the parent company of WALB, WTVM, and WXTX) failed to reach an agreement at the close of business on July 31.
